I always find that if nothing is crossed off it's very interesting - do they go round and get things in strict order so as not to forget anything?
Good use of paper here, like items on the same line.

January 2006 - seems January is a good time for shopping lists, maybe people are re-stocking after Christmas. Waitrose Cirencester.

Why is the Ginger Wine just for Jane?
Maybe because the list author has a cold (note the Lemsip)

Oh! do we have to choose between custard or cream - why can't we have both?

Dr Joolz very kindly found out what Movicol is -
"Macrogol is an inert substance that passes through the gut without being absorbed into the body. It relieves constipation because it causes the water it is taken with to be retained in the bowel instead of being absorbed into the body. This increases the water content and volume of the stools in the bowel, making them softer and easier to pass."
Great choice for a shopping list then!!
And what the hell is a 'cynthic card'?

Is Sam on the list to purchase, or is this a reminder about Sam? Who is Sam?

Trying to be healthy? Wonder what 'tea tonight' was?

Think a new pen should be on the list!?
Back when I started collecting I didn't have the foresight to write on them the date I picked them up. All the above came from Cirencester Waitrose in December 2005. I also photographed them instead of scanning.

Okay, so it's a board, but it's still a shopping list. My step-mother's shopping list. I wonder (and must ask her) if she writes the list out when she goes to the supermarket, I'm sure she doesn't take the board!
The bakewell tart is interesting as I think it was a reminder to ask me to get her some from Bakewell (which I did).
